Football Scenario Thread Empty Football Scenario Thread

Post by Guest Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:20 am

So I'll post one first and let someone else do one later on. Inspired by James thread about Southampton and Celtic.

    So here we go...

You are a 21 year old Striker currently at Carlisle, and you have got offers from Nottingham Forest and Bolton.

You are free-scoring in League one with 23 Goals this season (in January) and Forest and Bolton want you.Carlisle are 6th in League one, However Forest are sitting 22nd in the Championship and Bolton are 16th in the Premier League, you are paided most at Bolton, then 2nd most at Forest then Least at Carlisle.

If you went to Bolton you would only get 4 starts in that seasons out of 18 games and you would get 18 starts at Forest, out of 23 games and at carlisle you will start every game.

You may also end up back in League One with Forest and you may end up getting no games in the Championship with Bolton. But you may end up playing alot in the Championship with Carlisle.

    What would you do?

    Stay at Carlisle

    Go to Forest

    Go to Bolton

Neither Forest/Bolton will be relegated this year so I pick Bolton.

How would you get no games in the Championship if Bolton gets relegated if you were going to get 4 in the top flight? Bolton's roster will thin out and you would move further up the pecking order (unless somehow a team actually gets better when it gets relegated which probably isn't even possible).

I'd go to Bolton, take my chance to play in the PL and all, even if it's short. Plus I'd bank some extra money.

If I went to Forest there's no guarantee I'd ever move up.

Yes they take 50'000 to Portugal in the sun yet only have an average gate of 22,222.

Portugal sun >>>>>>>> Following Forest all season.Wink

Go to Bolton and bank as much money as I can. I've no interest in any of those football clubs, so I'll do what's best for my future.

This, like Demba Ba last year did all he could for West Ham and they still went down then you end up getting signed by a better club

I would play for Bolton because me, as an American player for Bolton, would have an excuse to be friends with Stuart Holden

Definitely go to Bolton, Because in my 4 guaranteed starts, I'd score every time.
