Well, even if you do lose at least you have a few easy games after United.

Mouthwatering to be 3 points behind us after 8 games, calm down, there's still 30 games to go, us being top of the league right now and unbeaten means fuck all, it's so long to go, the table doesn't matter (obviously the points do but it's too early to be thinking like that)Scott wrote:kyro7 wrote:Scott man, there's only been 7 games.

Nothing wrong with wanting to be within touching distance of your rivals at all times.

A strong start can always prove pivotal if you have the mentality to continue it. 08/09 season for instance.

Fair enough, just seems a bit early.. any way you'll probably go above us after our game v Everton.

I just don't want the gap between us to get bigger and bigger, that's all. Makes it that much harder to claw our way back when it comes to the last few weeks.

Wouldn't have used 'glided' in your sig, doesn't look in tune with the rest.

Wishful thinking.
Carragher will start. TBH .. these are the kind of games he excels in.
Suarez
Downing - Gerrard - Bellamy/Kuyt
Adam - Lucas
Enrique - Agger - Carragher - Johnson

At least we put up a fight. Came back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2.
Overall, through the last 3-4 years, we've been the better side in all the Liverpool/Man United fixtures. When we play there, we play decently, and have scored 2 or more on more than one occasion. When they've been here, we've outplayed them.

3-2 was extremely flattering, we were by far the better team and I hardly remember you threatening us apart from the penalty and freekick.Scott wrote:At least we put up a fight. Came back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2.

One of the worst games I had watched in a long time.
TBF, that six months was the worst I had ever seen.

We nearly made it 3-2 to us a couple of times. Meireles mis-hit a free header from a deep cross, and Torres completely fluffed a volley.

My friend, their is no shame in losing out to a class player like that however. When you have been beaten by Berbatov, you know that it has taken a footballing genius and something special to beat you. You should be proud to be beaten by Berbatov, not many teams can stop him.

And was still able to beat us all by himself.
We gonna lose badly, I can feel it coming.

NZG can feel it coming. No more debate is needed on the matter.
