They were in a bad run back then. Had a ridiculous losing streak because they were facing top class teams and got thrashed by Italy a few days before.

well Ireland are certainly a tough opposition and it will be very hard for us. But I think we have a small chance, I hope that Ireland keep their attitude of thinking that they got the easiest opponent and hopefully they'll become complacent thinking that they'll win anyway, like Serbia did, then we can hopefully shock them and win. But I'd say that we have a 3/10 chance to go through, a small chance but still a chance.

I can see Estonia wining narrowly at home, but I think Ireland will win overall .

And I disagree. Estonia vs Ireland is the best one.

That's why I said 'in my opinion'.

This should be interesting for certain. Estonia could have drawn Croatia or Portugal and have no chance at all to advance so this should really be a good match. I know the main stadium in Estonia is rather small so for any of the Irish out there planning to make the trip for the away leg you should get your stuff in order now or you won't get a seat.

Both Estonia and the Faroe Islands play on an artifical pitch so one of their major advantages got canceled out due to that fact.

Turkey/Croatia rematch of the greatest match in the last Euros. Can't wait!!
