Euro 2012 play off draw

This will take place on October 13th but I have some general seeding information of how this will go.

seeded: Portugal, Croatia, Republic of Ireland, and Czech Republic

unseeded: Turkey, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro

I want to see Turkey, Bosnia, Ireland and the Czech Republic go through. I'd rather Portugal and Croatia don't get through, but they probably will.

Unless either of those two get drawn in Poland's group, I would rather Portugal and Croatia come through. Much better competition that way.

Would like Portugal, Turkey, Croatia and Ireland to get thorough. As much as I dislike Portugal I feel they will offer a lot more to it then the likes of Estonia for example. And Turkey and Croatia play entertaining football and Ireland in the hope of them playing us at the euros.

Anyway, our attack is quite good.


Good enough to get us out of the group. It's our defense that is lacking. We still don't have a competent centerback to partner Perquis and Boenisch is still injured after a whole year.

There was a positive response on the Polish Forums. Apparently we played really well and completely dominated but it's the same old same old story of complete crap defense.

Nevertheless, we not too long ago beat Portugal U-21's and as it stands, top of the group. (Or maybe not anymore depending on the Portugal-Russia game... Not sure)

Stupid Norway ended up with 16 points (5 more than the lowest scored team in the play offs) and still didn't make it... Not that Norway would actually be anyhting more than canon fodder in the tournament, but damnit it's been a decade since last I saw Norway in a tournament

Estonia actually have a chance, drawed the weakest possible team. I can't predict the other three, I'd imagine Montenegro to go through over Ireland but football is football.
