We want our Billy back! We want our Billy back!

If he comes back I think I might cry with happiness. I remember the last thing he ever said to me :')

"We'll give it a bloody good go son"

Sounded so cool in that Scottish accent of his too Smile

You shouldn't have ever sacked him in the first place. Doubt he'll return to you now though.

Billy Davies has stated he would take the Forest job until the end of the season

Don't know how true that is, but he's now 2nd favourite for the job behind Robinson

Surprised at that after the way he was discarded last time, but he would still be a very good appointment for Forest if the rumours are true.

He is here until May 2014. We used to sing to him " Cheer up Gary Peters oh what can it mean, to a, sad sloppy bastard and a shit football team".

Then he went nuts about our loanees in the post match interview saying it was cheating and that.

I did, was brilliant! all the lads that came down were top quality. Seemed like nobody could beat Tubbsy (one guy I spoke to said he beat him 1-0) and McFadzean was beasting everyone I saw him play. Laughing Also before it started I was early and hanging about and who else but Chief Executive Allan Williams recognized me and started a conversation with me and not the other way round, he said he enjoys my piece in the programme at every game. Smile

Nothing like that has ever been done before with Crawley Town so was a great chance to meet some of the lads, bit down that one of the two players I really wanted to meet wasn't there, and that was Sergio Torres. I wasn't the only one disappointed with that either as this other guy had a scrapbook and there was two pages dedicated to just Torres and pictures and articles from the Derby County game where he scored the winner. At today's press conference, new Bulls Director of Football Gary Peters told the Hereford Times that the Bulls have little budget to bring new faces in.
He told Richard Prime: "We can work within 55% of our income and that's been used up, so we've got to find ways of extending the budget. "It's going to be tough, but I do understand the finances of clubs at this level and we've got to appeal to the fans. We're all mercenaries, they've got to realise that. People will straight away say 'ah, Gary Peters, he's a Slop'. Well, I'm not now, I'm working for Hereford."
Peters also told the paper he hoped to have a fans forum either on this Thursday or the following Monday.

Peters also spoke to the official site and gave a brutal assessment of the current team: "I think we have got to be scared, I think the team is probably the worst
team in the division, I've not seen a team that I think is worse. I think that because the club has recognised it as soon as this, it has given us a great chance."
He also told Tim Russon that his role alongside Jamie Pitman will vary: "I'll be out there helping him with training, he'll be picking the team but there is lots of things that I can take away from him that hinder managers."

My mates a plank, he didn't get Peterborough tickets because he thought they were out today but it was yesterday and they'd all sold out. So hopefully the ST holders didn't sell theirs so we can get one on Friday, if not I've wasted money on the train tickets. Laughing

We make a racket everywhere. Didn't think our fans were the usual level at the Amex though, probably because I was right at the front rather than in the middle of it all.

Hopefully I can be a part of the racket, been looking forward to it for a while and will be gutted if we don't get a ticket.

Yeah then you have a scrum with a load of randomers when you score. At Watford last season I'd been on the piss for quite a while before the game and when we scored I turned round to this group of young lads and picked one of them up... Embarassed

It's a nightmare getting out of the Kop from the back near the end so we usually start walking down when the stoppage time is announced and when we played Reading some guy was trying to punch someone else and almost ended up getting me. Neutral

He got sacked. 2 playoff finishes and saving us from relegation in 2 and a half years isn't good enough for our board. They seem to forget we were in Lesgue 1 struggling to come up for 3 years before he came.

Getting out of the South isn't too bad, then the usual penguin walk trying to get over that bridge over the M621. Laughing You can's see the steps cause there's so many people so everyone ends up walking like penguins trying to make sure they don't trip up.

The petition doesn't really affect me or any other Leeds fans who sit in the Kop and/or go away games as we stand up every game anyway. Razz It would help the rest of the stadium and other teams create better atmosphere though.

@Uncle John: I've never been over that bridge but I hate walked on icy/snowy steps when you can't hold on.

I might of said this before but on the way back from QPR at home we got to junction 15 without seeing any snow and then we were stuck in 3 inches of it and it took over 2 hours to get to junction 14 where we get off. Dry Smile

To be fair the County Ground isn't bad from what I've heard/read/seen, but still £25 for League 2 is quite expensive. Brighton only cost me £24 for a brand spanking new stadium!

Coolhead - Ouch that's a twat, you live in a good place for getting to away games don't you? Quite centralised? Like people in Brighton were stunned that we'd travelled all the way from Leeds just for a game, but breaking the journey into 2 stages (and having 7 bottles of beer on the long leg shifty) made it bearable.

Although, suppose it was 32 stages due to that bridge collapse. Did it affect you or were you driving down?

It is good but it's a shame that we only have Watford and the London teams that are proper piss easy to get to in this league. It takes like an hour minimum for any game unless it's MK Dons or Northampton I think. It's better than this family who travel to every game home and away from Southampton!

My brother got affected as he travelled by train from London but yeah we didn't get disrupted as we went by car.

How long did it take you to get to Brighton in the end?
