Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Brighton were the most boring team I have seen in a long time. Like Swansea last year but a lot worse and no attacking threat.....0 shots on target
Just trying to pass it around.....their goalie was walking around with it for ages .
We fought hard and probably deserved the win....their wasn't too many chances but we had more and took the vital goal.

Fair play to the Bradford fans. Quite a few of their fans on their forum have asked their club for there to be a minutes silence on saturday for Marcus Powell.

Awesome to hear that from them. I'm sure no matter what club you were playing on Saturday they would've done the same.CTFC~ced wrote:Fair play to the Bradford fans. Quite a few of their fans on their forum have asked their club for there to be a minutes silence on saturday for Marcus Powell.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
To my knowledge we have never done it before, and well I'm currently on jobseekers and there are a lot of people in Crawley who are as well so we'll be getting chavvy fans. I'm 20 and unemployed, so I can either get tickets for £13 or £10.

I'm not sure, I found it on the Crawley site. Probably worth checking on Bury's site to see what the situation is.Burytilidie wrote:Is that for us too?easley91 wrote:Awesome to hear that from them. I'm sure no matter what club you were playing on Saturday they would've done the same.

Oh my days. Never before have I seen a game where the keeper has been subbed at HT because he was so shit. Can't really believe what I just saw, nightmare evening.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Weirdly it was probably the best atmosphere of the season by the time it got to 5. They were singing all the usual songs about 'your support is fucking shit' and the like but we made more noise at 5 down than they did at quite a few points, not as many fans left as I'd expected either and we didn't boo them off at FT.

What's ironic is that Leeds do that really annoying 'you shit bastard aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' (i hate that aaaaaa part, embarrassing) and yet their goalie gets subbed

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
I thought it was 'you're shitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa'? We do it, and too many continue the aaaa part way after the chant has ended. I laughed to myself during the Dagenham match and we did that and Lewington (their keeper) played a blinder.bcfcben wrote:What's ironic is that Leeds do that really annoying 'you shit bastard aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' (i hate that aaaaaa part, embarrassing) and yet their goalie gets subbed

Have any of you ever seen a keeper being subbed because he was playing that shit? I can't ever recall seeing it before. We definitely need to get a loan in for Sunday, too big a game for young Cairns.

Nope, never seen it. You never know, he may step up. It probably is those words but either way it's really cringe hearing grown men all going aaaaaaaa like a bunch of 2 year olds.

It was funny when we did it at Old Trafford, and it's fun to do but some people just go overboard! One woman actually proper screamed after the 'aaaaa' absolutely mental. One match I stood by her and she did it, my ears were ringing!

Best moment is when someone is trying to start a song off but goes high pitched mid sentence
