They're obsessed with them because of their new stadium, and what was their good start.Cam wrote:Does Sky fancy Brighton or something, they always seem to be on tv.
They've been uncovered now though.

I was just showing how our away fans take more, like you were doing to Bury

How many times have Brighton been on TV, I know we've been on 6 times.

Leeds are the only team that aren't Portsmouth that I've known to sell out an allocation against us in the Championship.

I still think our 6k fans down to Palace on that Bank Holiday Monday last season was one of the best travelling efforts.

Our away following has been shit this season I think. No one can be arsed with it.
I'm off to Blackpool next Saturday, can't wait! Coach leaves at 8.30 though, gonna be an early one.
Do any of you lot travel on the coaches to games? They're so boring, can't wait until we start going on the train. We have to sneak drinks on to the coach in fanta bottles or summat, and the only entertainment we have is claiming the back seat and sticking a tits page from Nuts on the window down the motorway.

I go on coaches when the train prices are stupid amounts, terrible journeys but atleast they arrive early at the away ground so you can go to the pub.

Becuase the train you are just left to do your own thing with your mates and usually other lads from the same club, all with tins drinking at some ridiculous time of the day /

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Train is so much better, on the way to Palace I had to resort to pissing in a Becks bottle while kneeling down on a mini bus right near a girl. Whereas the train you have a toilet, more freedom to move and can drink on them. With a railcard the prices aren't too bad aslong as you book well in advance, only trouble with that is if you book train tickets and don't get match tickets, not happened yet touch wood but Peterborough was a close shave.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Trains are way too expensive, unless I can get a really cheap price in advance, but I rarely plan far enough in the future to do that. Only outside London game I did last season was Leeds, and I only booked it 2 weeks in advance. I looked for train prices but it was massive....like £50 each way or something.
The coach journeys aren't that bad for me. I bring some music and maybe 2-3 movies on my iTouch to last me there and back. It's pretty cheap.....like £20-£30 so that's cheaper than practically any non South East train journey.
I don't see much difference between a coach and train...I'll sit down the whole time either way and do the same thing. Difference being that trains mean more nuisance having to switch and maybe stand up, wait etc....

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
And certainly no Andy Lonergan!
Leeds ticket website isn't validating anyones card payments, what a time to break the evening before a game. Bet this will cost us a fair few sales if people don't fancy queueing up on the day!

Middlesbrough at home tonight. Cotterill's first game so hopefully we can give him a win.
Gonna make use of these vouchers I've got and get myself a free pizza from Dominos before the game

My dad got hold of 4 tickets in a private box behind glass for free from one of Forests sponsors. Asked if I wanted one but I turned it down. I'd rather sit in the stands than in there

Hmm...hate how disorganised I am. I would've gone to the Leicester game tomorrow, but it's too late to book coach travel.....and the trains are like £100
