i think arbeloa is perhaps the most reliable defender in football can play in all back 4 position and doesnt play bad. definitely he is far superior to enrique

didnt see monreal play much just 1 game so i dont know how he is this season

but jordi alba he is the next ashley cole, every single time i watch valencia this season he is a animal leftback. again, another one better then enrique

why do liverpool fans think that every player that join their team should be first choice for their national team Liverpool FC Official Thread - Page 17 58503

first its reina better then casillas, carroll should be starting for england, henderson better then wilshere, spearing should be called up, enrique should best leftback in spain etc. next thing they will say suarez should change nationality to argentina because he would start ahead of aguero messi higuain etc Liverpool FC Official Thread - Page 17 58503

He will probably never get called up to a competitive game.
Over-rated or not only an idiot would not want a player as good as Yaya Toure in a squad like Liverpools back then.

Liverpool take on Rangers in midseason friendly

    By Adam Bryant
    Updated Tuesday, 4th October 2011

Charlie Adam and Danny Wilson will return to Ibrox as Liverpool take on Glasgow Rangers in a friendly on Tuesday 18th October.

“We are delighted to confirm Liverpool will be heading to Ibrox in October,” Rangers boss Ally McCoist told the club's official website

“They are a fantastic club and their squad is packed with world class players so I have no doubt this game will capture the imagination of our supporters.

“We look forward to welcoming Charlie Adam and Danny Wilson back to Ibrox and I am sure the fans will turn out in huge numbers once again to watch us in action against such a high-profile English Premiership side.”

Liverpool have been allocated up to 4,000 tickets, priced at £25 for adults, £15 for over 65's and fans aged 16 or 17, with under 16's priced at £5 each.

Need to get 4 tickets to go and see the redmen play again at Ibrox. Liverpool FC Official Thread - Page 17 644235

What a pathetic thing to do, not involved in European competition so you decide to make your own European matches. I suppose it's not the first time.

How many times have Liverpool not qualified for European competition in the what the last 40 years or so. Maybe about 3 times or something, other than when they were banned from Europe. And why is it pathetic, they are not in European competition and have not as many games so why not play in a friendly. And well im going to see them so im happy.

Like the last time when i was there and we gubbed them 4 nil. Torres scored the first one, and went round the entire pitch at half time clapping all the fans.

What you reckon your team will be when they play us? Providing no one gets injured during the international break.

If it worked like that we would have still been in the FA Cup last season.

If it work like that, Liverpool would have won a few more European cups and we would be singing we won 6 or 7 times.cheers In fact lets just go back to the first bad decision in a football game and start replaying all the games.Rolling Eyes

It serves them right anyway. 2 seasons ago, Kyrgiakos got sent off (perhaps it was the right decision) but Afro-head should've been sent off at the same time and wasn't.

We still beat you with 10 men. 1-0. Why couldn't you do the same?

    Oh yeah, 'cause we're better.

No you wouldn't, you'd be singing 3 or 4 times thanks to Dudek and Grobelaar's cheating on penalties.

Maybe, maybe not... it was pretty even before the sending off. The main thing is we'll never know since it was 12 vs 10 for the majority of the game

Grobbelaar never cheated on penalties, what did he do wrong. And has a goalkeeper never saved penalties when taking a step forward.

Wrong. We were just much less dirty than you throughout the match. Normally, in a Meseyside Derby, there's awful challenges both ways, but this time, I simply cannot remember a malicious/bad tackle from a Liverpool player. Unless you can remind me of one? Struggling to think.

Everton however, were dirty cunts. You can't say the ref was against you when you should have had Afro-boy and Hibbert both sent off in the first half for clear studs up fouls on Lucas and Adam.

Not only that, but you had home advantage. We beat you 1-0 at Anfield when we went down to 10 men 2 years ago. So using the sending off as an excuse is just that .. an excuse.

That's because we bottled it and lost. Obviously if we had won that day there would've been an uproar
