Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
That role he played behind Suarez worked well against Wolves. Really got him into the game and playing in the style that suits the team. Stick him there v the bitters please Kenny.

He was a lot better than what he has showed in recent games, and hopefully he can keep improving.El_indian wrote:TBH I didn't think he was too good, he did OK but he's too immobile..

Carroll in the playmaker role?
I guess there's nowhere else to put him because if you play him in front of Suarez he lacks the movement and pace to trouble defenders...what he needs is a shit load of support - wingers, strikers, midfielders all bombing forward.

You can laugh but it's best Suarez and Carroll have worked together since they've joined.

Yes I agree.
There were moments where Carroll was just not on the same wavelength as Suarez.

I want to see how we play with Gerrard, Bellamy, Carroll and Suarez all on the pitch at the same time

I think a Bellamy and Suarez partnership would be the most effective against Everton

We should give Reina a yellow kit for next season, played better when he had one.

But its maybe something to do, with our great defence. Its draining his super powers.

Suarez, Kuyt and Bellamy v Everton, in front of Gerrard, Spearing and Lucas. But we all know what it'll be so no point even discussing what kind of team he's going to put out.

I hope Henderson doesn't start.
Watch, he will start and play well only to have a shot blocked off the line from an handball.

All my life, the Liverpool managers have all been stubborn.

Can see him being dropped. Gerrard won't sit out the Derby and Adam, Lucas, Downing, Suarez, Carroll will be certs to start the game I think.
Add me to that list as well.

I don't. Then I despair when I feel that they are clearly doing things wrong, because it's not likely to change. Just like with Henderson and Adam starting.
Not actually having a go at him, just a little consistent fault.

@Dave- Yes I'm going
@Cadbury- Not at all, what makes you think that? He's got my full support. Just some of his decisions are rather strange, can't I question the manager?
