Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
What happened to our defense this season? Last season we were really solid, and we look really shaky this one.

Line-up next week is a really interesting call.
Can see Adam getting a red easily in the derby and we can't afford any passengers in that type of game so Henderson is a massive risk too.

Carroll just needs to improve his finishing and maybe positioning. Everything else from him today was up to scratch. His work rate and his passing was much better than it has been.

Did anybody else just here Gary Gillespie say that Charlie Adam is a better player than Xabi Alonso?

Adam will start but i'm hoping Gerrard comes in for Henderson. Can't see Gerrard wanting to sit out the derby anyway.

Carroll hit the post too. Was impressed with him today.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Carroll was impressive today, should maybe have scored a couple, but overall his link-up play was very good, gutted that we didn't get to see Bellamy, especially when the game was stretched, he could have been a real threat for us.
Line up for next week will be difficult to predict, I'd start Kuyt, definitely. Takes responsibility more than Henderson, got a great record against the bitters too.

Think Gerrard will start too, not sure who's place he'll take though and whether we'll change formation.

interesting to talk about possession, of course adam and henderson and lucas will struggle for possession, they will always be underdogs against wolves technical specialists like karl henry and jamie o hara. its perhaps a mismatch and its not fair to judge adam and henderson against superior technical players

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
We need (imo) Bellamy, Gerrard, Suarez, Kuyt and Carroll all on the pitch for the Everton game. They're players that won't be messed with, won't be bullied.
Downing, Adam and Henderson on the bench. Possibly put Spearing in for Lucas too, which would be even more robust.
Carroll
Bellamy - Suarez - Kuyt
Lucas - Gerrard

Meh. I just want Suarez to put the easy ones away. He should have more than 3 goals this season.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Suarez is just amazing. Still shocked that he managed to score that goal but miss a couple easy chances.
Enrique was quality again. Kelly looked shaky. Carragher looked slow and Skrtel looked clumsy. Our defence and midfield need to get their game up before Rooney and Young rip us apart.

Some cunts on RAWK critising Suarez for his reaction when he got subbed. Wish they'd fuck off and get trapped in a hole.
