Do you guys think that 'lack of leadership' is a problem at Arsenal, or that's just a myth?

A lack of leadership and characters on the pitch are just acouple of many problems Arsenal have had is recent years, definitely.
Look at Fabregas, he was their captain for the last 2 seasons and there was constant transfer speculation with Barcelona, he even said at the beginning of last season that he wanted to leave Arsenal.

See, I think that's bollocks, just a pop-psychology explanation for a combination of luck, a thin squad and over-rated players. There are plenty of leaders at Arsenal.
Thomas Vermaelen, Andrei Arshavin, Yossi Benayoun, Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky have one thing in common that is relevant to this, can anyone here tell me what that it is?

Correct, 6 national team captains in one squad, 6. And a lack of leadership is the problem? Don't buy it. It's almost accepted wisdom these days though.

I don't know, it's something to do with the mentality at Arsenal. None of them look like natural leaders when playing for Arsenal, apart from Vermaelen to an extent who is usually injured anyway. As i said though that's not the only problem, most of those players are under performing or overrated.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Theo Walcott hopes to get his chance as a centre forward soon after discussing a potential change of position with Arsène Wenger.
The England international broke into the Arsenal side on the right of a three-pronged attack and has given countless left backs problems in the Premier League and beyond.
But much of Walcott's finest work has come when he drifts into a central position and uses his pace to run in behind the opposition - the winner in Dortmund being a case in point. The 22-year-old has three goals in six starts this season and believes he can do more damage from those areas.
"I had a meeting with the boss and explained my point of view," Walcott told the Official Matchday Programme.
"He knew the conversation would come up and was very happy to talk about it. He says he’ll give me a chance there at the right time, and I’m dying for it to happen – but he knows exactly what he is doing and obviously I trust him.
"I believe I can give so much more to the team playing up front, with the runs I can make off the ball, and I just love hitting the back of the net as well.
"At times I feel a bit, if not wasted, then in and out of games on the right. I just want it more and more, having scored a few last season - I’m not a winger and I think plenty of people know that. I’ve done OK out there but I’d love to play down the middle."
