In what way is the Chamionship underrated? It's a competitive league but I can't see any arguments against the lack of quality - to be expected from a 2nd tier league but true nonetheless. Players like Whittingham and Chopra carrying a team says it all, terrible quality.

In recent years there's been a massive improvement in quality. You've had the likes of Swansea, Burnley, Norwich go up in recent years playing some real magnificent stuff. Obviously, it's not as good as the Premier League in terms of quality, as you've said it is a 2nd tier league. But in terms of leagues of that level, it's probably the best in the world, if not running close to it.
It doesn't help with people like Mauro claiming it's hoofball off the back of watching Scunthorpe v Barnsley. There are some shite teams, but there's shite teams in every league when you compare them to the best.

Its true, I mean teams would have to be pretty daft to buy a player who's best form came in such a league, espically for say a large fee and... Oh wait.

Nah, but in all seriousness, we've been quite fortunate with injuries up to now (touch wood). Forgot to say as well, I seen John Flanagan out last week in town, I was bladdered though, went over and had a heart to heart with him.

I wouldn't argue against it being the best league of it's tier but then I don't think anyone could - realistically who watches more than 1 2nd tier league to compare the quality?
Nothing Mauro said was underrating it, hoofball is evident the rare time I do flick over to a Championship match. Doesn't make it a shit league just means the style of play is awful to watch. Even when you ask lower league fans what they like it's rarely the quality of play and almost always passion, no glory hunters etc etc.
You just can't say a league is underrated and then say the 4th place team is made up of shit players. Even worse saying Chopra and Whittingham carry them.

Anyway I think the best thing about our injuries so far is that Agger hasn't gotten any. It's brilliant seeing him in the team every week.

Well to be honest Jord, I'm not the type of person to go over to footballers etc... I just leave them be. But having had a few vodka's, I had to go over and give him a few words of advice. (sure he took it )
And yes, that's exactly what I think when thinking of the injury situation, Daniel fucking Agger.

I'm happy that we have him, and if he regains 100% fitness he could be a great player for us, but I'm not happy about the fee and I think we could have signed someone better. But there's no point moaning about that now.

I think all the publicity and hype around him, got to him in the end. He always to me, seemed like a young, down to earth, shy lad with an insane ability to put the ball in the net and I think that's why everyone sort of 'fell in love' with him.
Now he just seems like an overrated, moaning, crying cunt who blames everyone but himself, sulks and looks like he's had enough or he that he needs a good break from football.
He'll go the same way as Owen. He is
