Fair enough. Glad van Persie is finally getting the recognition he deserves on the game, it only took a monster goalscoring run to do so.AriseForLife wrote:No, I was being facetious since I know how much Fonseca HATES Gervinho. I think his rating is either too high or Van Persie's is too low considering that he is an 84 to Robin's 87. I rate him highly, but he is a monster on this game.

I run the 4-4-1-1 with Gervinho in the hole and Van Persie playing striker. The 4-1-4-1 also works very well too.justaddfinesse wrote:what formation should i roll with, with Arsenal?

It's alot slower, and actually takes a bit of skill to play. Much better than 11.

I've seen this comment a lot, what do you mean by it? FIFA 11 took skill to play, that's why some people were better than others, and some people could consistently beat others. As far as I can see, the skillset required here is just radically different from FIFA 11's.
It "benefits people who understand football", that's an interesting assertion, I'm wondering how you came to that conclusion though. Did you get the most successful managers in football and get them to play it? Did you find the people who you consider to understand football the best, and get them to play it, and compare their results with FIFA 11's? Or did you just look at it and think "I understand football" (like every other football fan) and enjoy the game? I'm betting it's the last one.BMxJoga wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

I mean that FIFA 12 benefits people who understand football rather then video gamers. IE defending is very akin to real life and even the ping pong passing I've been used to seeing on H2H looks harder to do. Closest thing to a sim yet.

In my most recent match against Manchester City the split was 52/48 in my favor and most of their possession was due to Yaya Toure being fucking Diego Zidane and basically having the ball stuck to his feet. The reason I like 12 more than 11 is because 12 appears to be a lot more tactical at least in the demo. I have been fooled before with EA games from demo to final release so I will wait until the game comes out before cementing that comment. The game is definitely slower and the speed seems a lot more realistic than in years past when basically everyone could blaze down the pitch.
