All the best David! He's still close though, only gone down the M57 to Bolton, will probably keep his house in Liverpool. Wish him all the best, nice lad, just weren't good enough. He'll do alright at Bolton if he keeps his head down.

Guardian - #LFC agreed to pay 60% of Cole wages in exchange for a first refusal option on the Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard.


It's useless unless Hazard wants to move but get Champions league football next season.....

The only bad thing is we are still paying cole like 45-50k a week.

Leaving this Bellamy deal late aren't we.

Sky have stopped going to the guy at Melwood..

However, through the director of football, Damien Comolli, Liverpool used Lille's interest in Cole to explore the option of being granted first refusal on Hazard.

That was refused but Liverpool hope that a good working relationship between the clubs will work in their favour in 12 months' time.
