Yes, he did alright. Was a bit rash at times per usual though, but made some good bursts forward and short passes. Didn't get tested defensively too much though.

Some journalists do seem to over-dramatize the impact of Meireles leaving. He isn't...wasn't one of our best. Good but the reason he moved was because he wasn't good enough to get enough game time.
