He was, must be including bench players as there's no-one in the squad with a Q apart from Miquel.

I doubt we'll sign someone in time to name them in the squad.

    Szczesny
    Sagna - Djourou - Vermaelen/Miquel - Traore
    Coquelin/Lansbury - Ramsey
    Walcott - Rosicky - Arshavin
    van Persie

One of the worst Arsenal XI fielded in a Premier League match though, especially in a game of such importance.

The squad of the 4-4 draw at Anfield comes close Laughing

    Silvestre
    Gibbs
Fabianski (Almunia was 1st choice and Fabianski was atrocious back then)
    Bendtner
    Denilson Neutral

Although we did have Fabregas, Nasri and Arshavin.

This match is a win win for me. If Arsenal win, United lose. If United win, we could potentially be 6 points clear of a rival for 4th place. That's if we beat Bolton, of course, which is miles away from being an easy task. Surprised

    Jamie Redknapp on Sczcesny..
    THIS KID IS COOL
Arsene Wenger looks to have 99 problems, but his goalkeeper isn’t one of them. Wojciech Szczesny is 21 but already has a real swagger about him. Both Arsenal and Manchester United have gone for young goalkeepers in a position where experience is usually critical. I know which one I would prefer in my goal: one looks a man and the other looks a boy.

Funny how, without buying a goalkeeper, our goalkeeping situation has gone from being our biggest problem within the squad to an area that seems perfectly fine.

The Bat-Man wrote:M'Vila is much better than Matuidi going forward, M'Vila is kind of a box to box midfielder with great passing, is he worth £20 million, not really, is he better than Song, very possible.

Would be a good signing although if we get a winger and play 442 I'll be happy.
I agree he is better going forward, but Matuidi is much better in the defensive role since that is what he does. I think Matuidi is also a better passer and much better tackler. I think Yann is 3 or 4 years younger than Blaise so he could close that gap, but if I had to choose either it would be Matuidi, but since he is already claimed by PSG I would gladly welcome Yann to the team. I think Song and Yann would be a much better pairing than Song and Frimpong or even Song and Wilshere. This would mean that Wilshere would have to move up and Ramsey would have to go to bench in rotation. It would be good to have that many options at our disposal.
Ricardo wrote:The fuck? Don't you know what type of player Hulk is? You do know he dwarfs van Persie in near enough all attributes required for wingers right?
This is where we will have to disagree. Hulk is not a better passer in my opinion nor is he as great a threat with the ball at his feet than Van Persie. In a 4-3-3, I would much rather see Robin out wide if Hulk had to be in the team than Hulk out wide and Robin in the middle. Personally I don't want Hulk at Arsenal because there are better options such as Mario Gomez if Bayern would entertain selling him.

    Udinese v Arsenal

    Shots 14-18
    On target 7-13
    Passing Accuracy 74%-83%
    Fouls 15-15
    Duels Won 48%-52%
    Possession 40%-60%

Not bad stats them. More shots, more shots on target, better passing and possession.
