    It doesn't seem to exist and shows how much of a farce UEFA is. They need to make rules that cover this, so their decisions are sensible and, as you said, consistent.

    Apparently it has to be a club who got eliminated via the Champions route qualification...

    Which means either Wisla, Kobenhavn, Maccabi Haifa, Malmo or one of BATE and Sturm Graz.

    Kobenhavn is the highest ranked team, so they will probably get it, but if they win by 2-0 or more than they qualify ahead of Plzen, which means that Wisla can get the spot. ddance

    Well I am sure this news it going to making Athletic Bilao fans very happy as they now have an automatic spot in the Europa League Group Stage without having to play the 2nd leg in Turkey. The first leg ended 0-0 so anything could have happened to them. That works out quite nice considering how many games it takes to win the Europa League.

    Considering that its the FA's that make the decision, I would question why you would think Turkey would handle it the same as Italy or France.

    The FA in Turkey is being proactive to avoid broad sanctions from UEFA.

    Maybe they looked at the Juventus example in Italy and feel it is better to take the relegation hit and earn back the top division spot. I think losing a league title and nothing else is just a slap on the wrist and maybe Fenerbahce sees it that way too. It could also be because their president is in jail over this scandal. Lastly it could be pure embrassment, this match fixing scandal also includes Turkish basketball and Fenerbahce's basketball team is also in big trouble right now.
