Didn't want to pay a few more mills for Di maria or Xabi Alonso either

If we were to sign Gotze, Moutinho, Cahill, Moussa Sow or Papiss Cissé, Mertesacker and another DM and a LB. Then I would be very happy but we are Arsenal and that will never happen.

I don't think I've seen any set of Arsenal fans behave like this.
What the fuck is going on with the club.

Smalling would definitely get in Arsenals team, miles better than Djouruo, Squillaci and Koscielny.

I don't rate him any higher than Arsenal youngsters Kyle Bartley or Ignasi Miquel and he has done nothing in a Man Utd shirt to prove he is any better, in fact Miquel looks twice the player on the ball.Sean wrote:Smalling would definitely get in Arsenals team, miles better than Djouruo, Squillaci and Koscielny.

I wouldn't go that far...
He's never had a terrible game for United I don't think, and he's put in some very good performances. I'd say Koscielny > Smalling, but apart from that he's better then our CB's except Vermaelen. Djourou is too clumsy, I almost had faith for him but meh

Fuck him, he's shite.
Rather us going for someone like Hazard for the winger position.

All I can do is laugh to avoid crying at the state of the team at the moment. How Wenger can be this bullish is beyond me.

The state our squad is due to mass injury and suspensions.AriseForLife wrote:All I can do is laugh to avoid crying at the state of the team at the moment. How Wenger can be this bullish is beyond me.
We've lost Fabregas who you said you didn't care if he went because Nasri can slot straight in anyway, other then that the team is no weaker.

Clichy >>>>>>> Gibbs/Traore atm
Eboue >> Jenkinson
Nasri and Bendtner are more then likely to leave.
Denilson has been replaced by Frimpong which is good, and we also have more wingers which is good.
Basically, if Nasri stays, we can get by with a LB and a CB. If he goes we need 1 more attacking player too.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Clichy defending is average at best, going forward the same. Gibbs has not done any worse than Clichy did for us so we are not weaker at LB. Jenkinson is just backup to Sagna and i remember people saying Eboue was shit almost every match he played in, Jenkinson has made a good impression thus far.arsenalap11 wrote:Chris wrote:The state our squad is due to mass injury and suspensions.AriseForLife wrote:All I can do is laugh to avoid crying at the state of the team at the moment. Attacking midfielder. He has a weird name. it begins with A and has a Z in it, but he has a different name on his shirt. He's from Georgia I think.
