I have seen this for at least 5 years now, why does everyone always try to shoehorn Tevez onto the left hand side? It's not his position in any way, he's played there maybe twice since he moved to Manchester, I don't know why everyone always does that. Back when he was at United it sort of made sense, we had 3 excellent strikers and he was the 3rd best of them, and a phenomenon on the right wing, so the idea was to put Tevez on the left and have Rooney/Saha or Rooney/Berbatov. In this case though, I can't even see why you've done that. Far more sensible would be
Aguero
Silva -- Tevez -- Nasri
Toure -- De Kong

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I wasn't putting too much thought into the formation, just the actual players on the pitch.. I think whether Tevez was starting left or central in a team like that they could fluidly change positions, Tevez will move out to the left any way, like Nasri, like Silva, they'd all move around each other and it'd be fucking class.ResurrectionRooney wrote:kyro7 wrote:You lot need to spend money, we're possibly competing with this:Aguero

Wrong thread but aye I'd agree with that. Although the controversialist in me says drop Tévez for being a whiny bitch and move Silva or Nasri centrally.

Maybe get a player to replace Cesc and Nasri who is not only good, but can also take set pieces

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I'm really worried about Gibbs.
I just had a thought that this isn't the season to be taking a risk like that. We're losing two of our best players, and rivals are getting stronger. We should be signing a new LB. Not taking a chance on bringing a young one through.
