No he shouldn't have, A yellow card was the correct decision. Gervinho deserved to be booked for diving and to be sent off for violent conduct.

Anyway it was defiantly a bookable offense a yellow card seemed about right, a soft red tbh in the refs prospective. The ref should have sent Song off though so Arsenal fans have absolutely no right to complain.

I don't know if you guys know what violent conduct is but..
I can safely say that Barton conducted himself pretty violently when he raised his hands, grabbed Gervinho by the collar and yanked him up.
Diving like a fanny had nothing to do with it, Gervinho raised his hand and deserves his red, I just hope people start treating him like what he is.
