Sergio Busquets: Underrated?

Personally, I think Busquets is a massively underrated player. Many despise him for his diving antics, something which I feel clouds their judgement of him as a player.

I've sometimes heard people say that they could do his job at Barcelona, which is wildly off the mark and proposterous. They seem to underestimate the job he does. He is a good passer and is incredibly disciplined while on the ball.

So what do you think? Is Busquets underrated?

Yes he is, people are saying when Cesc goes there to just drop Busquets and play him, but if they do that they will be so prone to the counter attack.

His performance in the Champions League final was excellent, but most people tended to overlook that in a way and praise that more recognised players such as Messi, who obviously still had an excellent game.

No he is not underrated. If you want to make a thread about a player who has been underrated for all his career so far, then make a thread about David Pizarro and not fucking Sergio Busquets.

nah he used to be, I think most people that arent retards recognize him as being the perfect DM for barca, he still worries me sometimes though, when hes not motivated hes sometimes too nonchalant on the ball, theres been a few times in preseason where he'll sit on the ball look to square it and give it straight to their striker, its a reason that I absolutely do not want him ever playing at CB, at least if hes clumsy at DM theres enough cover.

No chance he's underrated.

Mascherano would probably get into any midfield in the world, and the fact Busquets plays reguarly ahead of him says it all for me.

I think he is very good and integral to Barcelona and plays well for Spain, too. Keep in mind he's only like 21 or 22 isn't he?

i dont think hes underrate anymore but there are still some who do not acknowledge him as defensive midfielder because he obviously is the best

can that be form of underrating someone?
