Crazy idea that just crossed my mind. If Fabregas and Nasri leave, how about playing RVP in the hole and using Walcott as a striker? Walcott gets to play in his preferred position, and RVP gets to play in a role where his set of skills can be used to the fullest.

A lot of others suggested it already, I think it would be fantastic, because there would be space for Gervinho on the left and Chamberlain/Jadson on the right. I think Walcott would be all right. It all depends how he would be deployed. If he was sent out to take players on and do a lot of dribbling an link up play, then it wouldn't work. But if he was sent out to poach and stay on the last defender, then he could be utilised quite well. van Persie could do all the above work , and then possibly Arshavin could can play in that CF/CAM position he enjoys so much and link with the midfield.
