Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Nope. Apparently Wenger conceded we were lacking in the final 3rd. Whether that means a new signing or not is anyones guess.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
If Nasri leaves then we'll get someone 100%.
If Fabregas leaves then no, he'll say we have Ramsey and Wilshere.
Personally, Wenger should care about the future of our youngsters a bit less, just buy the players we need and when we win something we can pick apart our team to be more efficient financially and have it incorporate more home grown talents.
Wenger is an idol for me, I use his example in everything I do, it hurts me the most when people take digs at Wenger and make a mockery of him.
I just want him to start winning things again and leave on a high so when I tell my kids stories about Arsenal I can tell them how Wenger stood strong against the critics and haters and made the club rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

If he just went out and got in a creative CM to replace Fabregas, someone to replace Nasri, a CB and a new LB. All proper quality then we'd be cruising most games

Concentrate on Flanagan, we need to have Walcott on the left cos Arshavin won't do the pressing, Flanagan is shit horrid on the ball and Liverpool love playing the ball in behind the full back over the top so we need to get Song ready to support
Damn things have changed.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Arsene Wenger will summon his most trusted talent scout to the Arsenal training ground today and ask him for a final verdict on Gary Cahill. Chief scout Steve Rowley watched the Bolton Wanderers centre-back in action against QPR will surely tell his boss that Cahill is made for the Gunners.
In fact, the goal Cahill despatched to set Bolton on their biggest away win for six years was good enough to grace the Emirates or any other home of Champions League football. Arsenal are well aware there’s a get-out clause in Cahill’s current contract which values him at around £16.5 million.

With any luck Flanagan will get dumped the fuck on the bench. Joke that he was even starting today.

I don't think I have ever seen such a lack of creativity in an Arsenal side before.

Was painful trying to watch Rosicky do it

I seriously think we should play Theo up front and Van Persie in the hole while Wilshere is out. RVP can create really well. Without Ramsey AND Wilshere in the team we need more in the midfield and im sure we could play some wicked through balls for Theo.

RvP was all over the place today. Which fucked us over as we had no one in the box. Don't see why we can't give it a go while we look for Fabs replacement.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I say play 2 upfront, it's best for us, we have no real midfielder maestro but we have van Persie.
Put Gervinho and Arshavin either wing.
Wilshere Song in the middle.
As for RvPs striker partner, Walcott or a new signing.
All we need is a CB, a winger and maybe a striker parter for RvP.

Gibbs---Vermaelen---Koscielny--Sagna

That would be nice and while Gervinho is banned have Chamberlain or Miyaichi start.

I don't like the fact once we get 1 injury/suspension we have to resort tot he youngsters.
Need more established talent.
