I am not underrating him. I think he is a good player, but I think far more people overrated him. I mean to say that Barcelona should have three players finish 1, 2, and 3 in an award is just mad. There are players who had better seasons than Andres AND Xavi yet both remain entrenched in awards. I can see why Xavi would be included, but Andres in my opinion is one of the most overrated players in the world and has been for quite some time.

I agree that Iniesta didn't deserve to be in the top 3 after his injury hit season(clearly only got it because of the world cup winning goal), but he had a better season this time out than Xavi imo, I can't think of many bar Messi and Ronaldo who had better.

Sahin, Hernanes, Hamsik all had top class seasons like Iniesta but easily forgotton because of the club they play in.

I don't watch them enough to agree or disagree but it certainly wouldn't be undeserved if Iniesta was in the top 3 again.

Ironically though he's less likely to get a top 3 place the year he actually deserves it just because of 1 goal.
