No Aquilani.
Flanagan starting ahead of Kelly. Interesting.

Only Kuyt on that bench can come on and change the game. Would have expected better tbh.

Kelly's probably used as the back up CB until Skrtel comes back from injury.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Well think mate. We need defensive cover in midfield and Spearing is that cover. Maxi is always played as a wide player here, and Meireles and Spearing are central midfielders. Aquilani being left out to Meireles is a strange one but Maxi isn't.LFC_Grunners wrote:Maxi and Aqua > Meireles and Spearing

I'd have left N'gog out of the subs and included Maxi or Aqua, not sure why he's there when we're apparently trying to sell him and Kuyt could come on as a striker so it's not like we need him.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen accepts his future lies away from the club and hopes to seal a move this month.
The Denmark international made little impact in his first season after being signed by former Reds boss Roy Hodgson last summer.
With current boss Kenny Dalglish now possessing a wealth of talent in the centre of midfield, Poulsen is surplus to requirements.
The former Juventus man accepts his misfortune, and will push for a transfer before the summer transfer window shuts on 31st August.
"My future needs to be resolved in August and preferably as soon as possible," Poulsen told Danish television station TV2.
"I have to get to play matches regularly. It's obvious that I would really like to play football."

Hopefully he is gone by the end of the month.

It's not like he can't be first choice right back AND backup centre back though...

Expecting us to play 4-2-3-1 in this. With Carroll as the lone man with Henderson just behind and Lucas and Adam as the two in midfield. Suarez bossed the game coming down the wings last season, so I expect him to play there.

If you look at Sky Sports team lineups, they have us playing a 4-4-2 with Stewart Downing upfront with Carroll.

So I have given Liverpool the honor of being the first team who I actively tune in to for the new football season, I expect you fucks to bequeath me with 720p or better quality streams for my viewing pleasure and so my critiques can be as sharp as possible. Much obliged.

Imagine 70 minutes into your first game of the season (Sunderland players), feeling your muscles start to burn, really fucking tired and then the ref blows the whistle for a substitute and you look over to the bench and See Dirk fucking Kuyt jumping up and down on the sideline ready to use 90 minutes of his usual energy in the 20mins left.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
We played 4-2-3-1 in every pre-season game. It Suarez will drift all over(right, left, centre), from what I saw in pre-season Henderson will do the same and Downing with drift from each flank. In other words the 3 behind Carroll will all drift.
