Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
There's a lot of players who have a lot to prove next season. I think it will be a great season in terms of entertainment. And I'm looking forward to waking up on a saturday and having a full day of football. But I'm still wary of our chances of breaking into the top four. A great performance against Sunderland to get the ball rolling will do it for me.

Same. Champions League quarter finals+ where the norm, and Hypia+Mascha+Alonso+Torres
And how two cunts can destroyed it all.
Anyway, onward and upwards now. Really looking forward to next season.
I remember how I felt after the Debreccen game when Fiorentina beat Lyon and we got knocked out of the Champions League in the group stages. It was a horrible feeling, after all the hype in the summer. That's when I learnt not to get your hopes up.I can't bare to watch that Thankyou Rafa Benitez video ElAlonso made now a days.
Oh well. Maybe one day.

Loserpool suck!
I see you have Sunderland at Anfield, ironic how Henderson is facing his home-town club in the first game.
Good luck.

It helps that the likes of Man United and Arsenal have pretty tough starts. We could be around the top after the first 4 games. Which will only instil more confidence in the team, and boost morale.
It's pretty pointless, but we have a good chance of being top of the League after the first game
Arsenal have Newcastle away, won't be a high scoring win for Arsenal imo. Man United have West Brom away, don't think that will be a high scoring win either for Man United. Chelsea have stoke away, won't be a high scoring win for Chelsea imo.
If we win 3-0 which is possible if we play like we did against Fulham/Birmingham etc, then we could well be sitting on top before the Arsenal game.
I think Man City will be there though, they've got Swansea at home. Reckon it's going to be a whitewash. Anyway, Liek I said, pretty pointless, but would be nice to see Liverpool so high up the table

Why stop at second? I'd love it if we steam-rolled the League by Christmas. Bought a superstar in January and won the League with ease.

But we won't.

Also it's at Anfield. Crowd will be buzzing like fuck.
Last year it was Arsenal and we gave them a good game under Roy Last minute gift left us with a draw, but we could've won. If we can do that against Arsenal with Roy, we surely can do it with Dalglish against Sunderland.

And if we sign Enrique, I'm gonna be even more optimistic than I already am.

These riots will cost London 100 million pounds to fix !!
That's twice as much as Fernando Torres cost Chelsea but nowhere near as damaged !!!

Telegraph reporting that Dann is in talks with Arsenal now. Few reports saying we're after Mertesacker.

Mertesacker, only problem is his pace.
Sky on the ball, everywhere reports 5.5m they report 6m.

Don't want Mertesacker; would much rather have Dann tbh. Especially with him being a Liverpool fan.
Reports we are hijacking a bid for Juan Manuel Vargas
