Doesn't really make a difference to you, does it?
Huge difference. United is Liverpool's biggest rival and likewise. We dont like when you succeed and likewise.
Adding world class players to the squad only makes everything more difficult for every other team.

We should get Donovan. Adam can set him up for the touchdown, go team!

Sneijder isn't overrated.
But I have doubts over how well he'd do in England.

Yeah, he's a bit overrated, but he's still better than everyone in their midfield.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
The Sneijder deal doesn't worry me as much as most. He is a quality player no doubt, but to utilise him efficiently and effectively their whole system which has warrented them so much success over the years would have to change.
For years they have played an effective 4-4-2. In a midfield 2 Wesley simply doesn't fit. For arguements sake compare him to a player of the same ilk - Aquilani. Both prosper 'in the hole' yet wouldn't be great defensively.
For him to play to his potential they've to play a 4-2-3-1 which they can, but, just not sure he's what they need. And he's not as good as some people have made out. Failed at Madrid, has had a few good seasons at Inter, the treble season would be the only season I'd consider him as world class throughout the season. Gerrard's been doing it for 10 years, that's the difference.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
aquilani doesnt play in the hole
whenever he has had prolonged matches in the hole he has failed
he is a transitional centre midfielder. if u think he will play as a number 10 for entire season then liverpool are fucked
do some research you noob

Of course he is.
I've only watched Aquilani week in week out. My opinion is void to a 15 year old kid who can barely speak a word of English. He needs to go and get laid to be honest.

I know enough to tell him and Sneijder are quite different, and that Mauro is talking more sense then Dean.
Quite funny how all Dean can reply with is some smiley's.

Don't need him to be great defensively, our best football in the last 6 years has come with Carrick alongside a more attacking player, be it Scholes, Giggs or Anderson.

And the reason is, I can't be assed discussing anything with him, he's a fool. Plus I'm off to bed in a minute, some of us have jobs to get up for, bills to pay...
Good day, sir. Carry on talking Luke, we love it.
