One year ago, the young ambitious scout Kristian Hansen was assigned a caretaker role at Villareal CF. After a few friendlies, the Villareal team had shown a lot of promise and the board decided to sign the Dane as their full manager, a decision a few of the stars, Rossi and Cani, didn't like, because they didn't fit into his playing style. After selling a bunch of players in his first transfer window, as well as signing profilic players like Pablo Piatti, Christian Eriksen and João Moutinho, Villareal looked to have a strong team with mostly satisfied players, where only Rossi and Cani wanted away.
After a couple of questionable performances by the duo, Hansen convinced them it was in their own best interest to play well, just in time for the outfield match against Barcelona that would either have Villareal out of the top battle or very well involved, as the season so far had given rather mixed results. Against Barca, Hansen's team stood together as a unit, with Cani in the #10 position and Rossi on the left wing, Villarealy outclassed Barcelona the first 15 minutes, resulting in two goals and held their line for the heavy Barca-bombardment, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the yellow submarine.
In the beginning of January, Villareal was in the 3rd spot, merely 2 points behind league leaders Sevilla. Hansen could smell the gold, which led him to get rid of Rossi and Cani to sign Simon Kjær and Guardado instead, a swap that paid off in great. Guardado scored the match winning goal in both the Copa del Rey quarter final against Real Madrid and in the final against Barcelona, while Kjær had loads of consistently great performances, including an MOTM performance against Barcelona at home, a match which Villareal won 5-0. Two matches before the end of the season, Villareal could win the league in a home match against Real Madrid, something which was called "the perfect party-starter, if we succeed" by Hansen, who didn't like ending the season with an outfield match Sporting Gijon, "I'd like my team to win the league in a home match", the Dane stated before kick-off. Villareal ended up winning the league that day with a 3-1 victory, with Hansen afterwards stating "this is the happiest day of my life", after securing the first hope possibly many La Liga titles
Meanwhile, mr. Hansen has been active scouting around Europe too, which has led to contracts with interesting young prospects Tom Thoelen, Marc-André Toski, Rubén and Sergio Capdevila (the latter being Joan Capdevila's younger brother), something which shows that Hansen hasn't forgot what got him the job in the first place.
Can he, for the second season, after losing experienced players like Marchena, Senna, Gonzalo and Joan Capdevila, as well as young players like Thoelen and Musacchio help his team to stay in the top of the Spanish league?

NOTE, I have absolutely no idea if the actual Joan Capdevila has a younger brother, but I do know that scout gave me a carbon copy of Capdevila as a scouted youth player, so I made up the story for this thread.
