    You haven't gone into specifics anyway and the little information you posted is wrong.

    Even I know Villareal don't play a flat 4-4-2 and Bruno wont play right midfield

    I don't see the point in making a thread hours before the match with no accurate information in it. May as well just make this type of thread right at kick off.

    I don't watch much Spanish football hence the reason I stay out of most discussions about it and don't make threads. I just heard from watching the Malaga game last night that Malage play a similar 4-2-2-2 to Villarreal La Liga - FC Barcelona vs Villareal CF (KO:21:00 Barca time) 232912

    Villareal gave us an incredible game last year, Messi was the difference as you said.

    It was a really open and exciting game and I hope this one is the same, im still worried about that back line though.

    He played him there last season during the first leg didn't he? Cani can't follow Xavi or Iniesta, his defensive work rate is shit. Marchena will most likely be playing CB, but pressuring Messi so he has no space to turn, like Carvalho did in the 2nd leg of the Super Cup.

    I had a look at the lineups. He played there in the second game where Villarreal lost 1-0. Not too bad tbh. He must have had a good game.

    Messi didn't start though shifty came on in the 53rd minute.

    Yeah you need that brute strength to break up that midfield. Closing passing lanes won't be enough.
