Nah no fucking way Cesc is staying here now. Nothing wrong with him whatsoever, fit enough to play in the Emirates Cup - didn't. Fit enough to play against Benfica, wont.

Reports coming out of Catalonia are that Barcelona & Arsenal have this evening agreed a deal in principle for Cesc Fabregas #AFC

I see your point but that could be why he didn't travel.

If we're going to go by reports Arsenal should have 1 billion in the bank and Barcelona should have about 143 players called Cesc Fabregas.

To be fair, Ramsey is better than our midfield.

I love Fabregas to bits, and would hate to see him leave. But it's gotten to the point where I couldn't give a shit what he does. I'm more worried about how the rest of the team are dealing/reacting to this. Is it really fair on them and a good example that their captain was going to make them take two team photos just in case he leaves, is it fair that they have to put up with all the disruption. From a mental point of view, I think it is best he leaves. I think it will take some sort of burden off the rest of the players.

If Fabregas goes Wenger will sign an inferior player than Fabregas so why would you want that to happen?

He did that by signing Eduardo when Henry left, but the team still improved and came 3rd. The majority of Arsenal fans probably want it to happen because they're sick to death of constant rumours and being unsure of what his fate will be. I can't blame them.

How are we expected to replace Fabregas anyway? It's obvious that a player no where near his talent would have replaced him.
Are their any players that come close to his talent that we could realistically sign, even if we had a sugar daddy and spent like Man City or Chelsea?

He's your player, you should just tell him to stay and accept nothing off them, and he'll play and you know what Cesc is like he wont have his head down he'll work his arse off for you even if you keep him.

He's bound to go to Barca eventually, so why not get the big transfer fee while you can. You never know, he could get a bad injury or lose form. Then he'll be worth nowhere near as much.

It will hit us hard. Like I said, I don't want to see him go. But you have to draw a line somewhere and think about other options and possibilities.

What I don't agree with though is Cesc not playing a single pre-season game. Does this mean we are just gonna chuck him straight into the first 11 against Newcastle ? How fucking wrong is that.
