And Llorente wouldn't move unless it was to a huge club.

Newcastle are a better team then West Ham and Kevin Nolan made the switch. Shit happens. We won'tt get Llorente or Rossi though

Oh bloody hell Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread - Page 32 58503

    Completely different circumstances..

why come in our thread just to tell us that we probably won't sign rossi and llorente? I think most of us knew that.

But why keep posting formations e/t/c with them in. Surely there's other strikers out there that are a lot more realistic then? Lots of people come in our thread and talk about our transfers, and how Nasri and Cesc are going e/t/c, it's what people do..

I dont recall ever posting an XI with Rossi/LLorente in it

agreed, I just want him gone now, he's been great, our best player, but he wants out so be it we might as well at least make some money and end the stupid media coverage and controversy and so forth.

    This.

Me and my brother (Chelsea fan) were talking yesterday about the Modric situation and he said the Chelsea did the stupid thing by bidding only £22m when players like Henderson & Carroll were going for £20m & £35m. If the market wasn't so inflated then £22m would have been accepted but with the prices now it's nothing. I personally won't take anything less than £40m for Modric. He may not actually be worth that much, but with the prices now I think it's about right.

Carroll and Henderson went for those amounts purely because they were English, quite simple really.

At the end of the 19th century the club switched colours yet again, to the white shirts and blue shorts which they are now well known for wearing, hence the nickname "Lilywhites". This colour choice is thought to be in homage to Preston North End who had recently done The Double. smug

Not bad lover, still recovering from Saturday night not used to this drinking shit anymore, it must be an age thing. But cant wait until the season starts, missing the fitbaw and hoping Liverpool can challenge for the top 4, and hoping Fergie retires to give us all a better chance. Wink

Fergie will still be around for a while yet Crying or Very sad Im not saying to much about Liverpool, but if they can get a decent start you never know, but a top 4 place would do me fine, but it will be hard, and hopefully a good cup run maybe even a Wembley visit and winners medal. Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread - Page 32 9905

Just saw that Chelski have bid 27 million now for Modric.

I think Modric is a great little player, and with some of the cash getting spent on buying some players 27 million is a joke. I mean Andy Carroll i think could be good for Liverpool ,but 35 million for him and 27 million for Modric, something wrong there IMO. But i saw what Fergie said and he might be telling the truth, but he has said these things before and it would not surprise me if he went out and got someone, maybe Nasri maybe not but someone good. I think he should play Gibson. Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread - Page 32 784961

i like gibbo as a lad but he's a squad player imo and in the long run may stop fresh lads coming through. unfortunatley some of our 'amazing' youth are maybe 12 months away from even thinking of getting into the first team on a regular basis. IMO we need to replace mr scholes ( Cry ) & hargreaves with a proven CM.

Gibson need games to help him out but i dont think he is the answer, although he gets unfair stick if you ask me, as he gives it his all and thats as much as you can ask whatever ability a player has. But you might get some to play instead of Scholes and still be very succesfull, but to replace the irreplaceable the boy the man was and always will be a complete Legend.
