Yeah watching the goal live is great, but if you're an Aussie and you have to sleep before the game, sometimes you have to miss a few minutes

and Defoe is out for 3 months now following ankle surgery, tis on the breaking news strap on SSN.

And that sucks

So Dawson gets injured for 6 weeks or so in our first match and Defoe gets injured for 3 months in our second. We never seem to get luck with these things. I think we're going to have to rely on Super Pav a bit more - which is no bad thing because i think with VDV in the side Pav will score goals. We might have to dust off Keano and surgically extract his arse from the bench as well - i'll get on it now!

If you're going to be captain, the players have to be behind you as the captain, don't want a player that teammates don't want captaining them

I understand that but if we're gonna be a top team we need 11 leaders on the field anyway, with one just wearing the armband. We don't know how Gallas has been received by the lads during training etc. so they may love him being captain. I guess we'll find out in a few hours!

If anyone deserves the Armband for you guys It should be Modric.

He is who I would prefer being captain if King and Dawson are out. Hell Keane may even start and be captain

If hes captain today and it doesn't go well he might have a strop and sit next to the corner flag till he gets his own way. I'm not sure what hes done to show hes a good captain. He got stripped of captaincy at woolwich because hes a whiny little bitch - we don't need someone like him leading us out. Give it to Modric or Huddlestone.
