    Heyyy guys Smile

EA seriously killed the Real Football thread!!! :@ so annoying and the fifa 11 real football thread hasnt really kicked off.

thanks GK01 for PMing me to this forum thumb

I thought Van der Vaart had a pretty good debut, allthough his shots were abit wild. seems quality in that free role position!

I think we are really going to miss Modric in our CL games though Sad

our best player for each segment of the pitch are injured at the moment Sad

    Gomes, Dawson, Modric, Defoe

Was talking to Point during the game, and I think I can speak for both of us, to say that was really a disgrace of a performance, I mean we really should have done more, but no in typical Spurs way we screwed it up.

But knowing us in Typical Spurs way we'll go beat Bremen Laughing

How does everyone watch Tottenham games here? I dont have Sky and i stream my games. just going to let you know how i do it as i see a few of you wanted good streams that worked! I'm sure everyone has used Iraqgoals streams or Justin TV streams but i find them really bad quality and they often get banned.

First download SopCast. (this is the application the stream will open with. Just Google it.)

After you have done that head over to http://www.myp2p.eu/. Once there click "Live Sports" and then "Football". there will then be a big list of all the games you can watch throughout the day and the forthcoming fixtures that will be showed.

Once you have picked a game it will show you all the streaming channels. The bigger the club the more streaming channels there are and the better quality Streams. (bare in mind when you are searching for a channel the bigger the bitrate the better quality but the signal may not be as strong the further you go down the list.)

For Tottenham games there is ALWAYS a channel called "YES"

I recommend using this as it is really reliable, Good Quality stream, always english commentary and never gets banned due to copyright!

I also watch Barcelona and Real Madrid games. for these games i recommend a the Channel called "HBO and More" the quality for that is amazing. it opens in Veetle player which you may have to install.

I will be streaming the Liverpool game today and if a "YES" channel dont come on sooner to the time i will be viewing the RUS NTV+Football which is better quality than "YES" but not english commentary.

    Hope this helps Razz

for Saturday 3pm games or any time we are not on TV or are on ESPN I always use YES. But yesterday's was shocking first half, I swear it kept jumping and I know it wasn't my connection but the actual channel itself. YES is usually very good if you have the connection for it Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread - Page 4 Icon_smile

Cudicini is a funny one. He has his bad moments, but then comes out with some top drawer saves aswell. He saved us a point against West Brom with a couple of great saves in the 2nd half.

VDV looked class for about an hour, then his fitness really caught up with him (same for Gallas really). They just need games under their belts. I think VDV will prove to be the missing link for us.

I'm so excited about tomorrow night. A bit gutted that all our CL games clash with Barca (my 2nd team) so will have to stream the Barca games in the background or something. It'll be interesting to see what system Harry uses away in Europe though.

I think we will go 4-4-1-1 with VDV making it a 5 man midfield when we defend. I'd consider dropping Lennon on his current form though. Great news on Modric though, would love him to play tomorrow night. He linked up so well with VDV in the 1st half at West Brom.

    Love it!

anyway so excited about tomorrow night and so happy Modders is travelling, may not start cause of the injury but bench is better than London! I hope Pletikosa gets a game (he'll most likely be used for Carling Cup I feel) and with Pletikosa in goal he can tell Corluka to defend! Razz

I'll be honest, I'll be happy with a point tomorrow night and we can beat them at the Lane. 6 points off FC Twente is possible and I will take 1 point off Inter whether it be there or here, draw over there would be an amazing result though! (and maybe 3 at the Lane if we play like we know we can, like we did against Chelsea and Arsenal last year) so in my mind thats at least 10 points which should see us through. But hey this is all my thoughts about our Champions League group! and we all know how Spurs can mess it up! Razz

Kyle Walker has joined QPR on loan. It will be good for him to get plenty of games this season. He looks a real prospect.

VDV will at least be on bench, King to replace Gallas and partner Bassong, who knows on Modric? bench at least from the start I believe and bring on if we need him. Niko to replace Modric maybe?

I thought he was alright first half against West Brom then as game went on he got tired and lost his way. I'm guessing thats because of a lack of match fitness but in time that will pick up and he will be great for us I'm sure of it.

I would start Kaboul over Bassong atm. Bassong hasn't played much lately, while I think Kaboul has looked solid away to Stoke and West Brom.

It sounds like Modric will start on the bench tonight. So hopefully VDV will be able to start and get at least 60 mins. We need 1 of those 2 to be involved really.

    I would start with...
    Cudicini
    Corluka....Kaboul....King....Ekotto
    Lennon....Huddlestone....Jenas....Bale
    VDV
    Crouch

Both teams are missing key players tonight. I think it'll be a draw.

I wouldnt mind that line up but I can see harry picking...

    Cudicini
    Corluka....Kaboul....King....Bale
    Lennon....Huddlestone....Palacios....Kranjcar
    VDV
    Crouch

Pletikosa will either get his debut tonight or on the weekend i think.

I wouldnt mind seeing Jenas given a run out as apparently he has been playing really well in our reserves games. Its just his concentration and decision making that lets him down.

I can understand why everyone is starting to have faith in Jenas but do we remember what the guy is like for 70% of games? We need to start Modders even if he isn't fully fit - european games are tailored for him and he'll shine.
Anyway, aren't we all incredibly excited about this? I know i am - goosebumps when the champions league music starts and our lads have the CL patch on their arm. Wahoo!

    19:45 kick off. We're on Sky Sports 4 and HD4 from 19:30pm

The most important thing for us is not to be overawed by the whole experience. I thought we were taught a lesson in Switzerland early on and hopefully we've learnt from that. We need to believe we belong in this competition and go out there and express ourselves.
