I think your new owner slightly exaggerrated when he originally talked about his spending plans.

I think it's more to do with top players not wanting to come to the SPL tbh.

It's a lot to do with that, but Celtic proved last season that you can easily find top players who are relatively unknown, with the signings of Kayal and Izaguirre.

What he's worth, and what's offered for him are two different things. Is Torres worth £50m or is Carroll worth £35m now?

Not at all. If Liverpool hadn't needed a new striker, then I expect that they would have simply refused to pay £35 million for Andy Carroll. Or at least you'd expect that to be the case...

Only had 1 bad game this season imo. Against Hibs and he was carrying a slight injury. I can see him going to Newcastle or Villa or some other mid table Premiership team. We paid £4.5million for him, so I want £10million. Mostly due to his worth to us, we'd really miss the big man if he left. Although I'm pretty sure we could find a solid replacement for the money. Probably even 2 or 3 strikers lol. Fucking missing the football big time this week, Also because we were on such a high and in top gear. As long as we keep it up we'll walk the league, Lennon's got to go imo. No tactical knowledge what so ever and it seems like he has lost the dressing room, let's hope they get another Mowbray.
