    Astro Football. Empty Astro Football.

Post by Jack Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:22 am

I've decided I'm not as fit as I was before a leg break and unlikely going to reach that fitness again with how busy I am at the moment so have decided to revert to my original position of the Goalkeeper.

I'm looking to start a smaller Astro team, something like 5 or 6 players, that play weekday evenings rather than weekends with me trying to get a job etc.

Does anyone know what's the best way to get into it - is there an F.A website you can contact about League information and vacancies?

Does anyone else play it, other than fitness, I think I'd find it more fun - and have heard a few of you talk about what astro boots you have, and how do you find it?

I play every Monday night on a 5 a side astro pitch, not a league or anything just a bunch of people I know who gather there and we play 5vs5 sometimes 6vs6.

I wouldn't know about anything about joining some sort of 5 a side league, but if there are any public pitches near you, you could ask how much it would be to book them, usually for terms, and round up 10-12 people to put money towards it.

    Incase of death.. Laughing

I play in goal in training and the cunts use it as an opportunity to smack it as hard as they can - as you would of course.

    No.

Are you implying that people who go to the gym are all gay and on steroids?

I go to the gym you retard lol, but there's a difference Bodybuilders are the gay looking ones trying to look ripped and shit but are weak as hell and would get beaten up by a girl then there's people like me who train for strength and endurance mainly, and there's powerlifters.

    FYI, 205ish Pounds, 11%-12% Bodyfat

It's so easy to play inch perfect passes too, and I'm really good at hitting the ball low and hard, really want to join a 5-a-side team Astro Football. 1371890812

Join Goals if you don't mind spending a bit.

Very professional set up. Pitches are awesome. Leagues are good. They do monthly tournaments.

Depends on where you are I think. For me in Leeds it's £21 a team per match (£3 each) but where Ryan is it costs him more.

I wouldn't expect us to pay more than £3-£4.
