Worst mistake you've made in a match?

Can be any match. Down the park, during training, or a Sunday League match, anything.

Mine was when I was in goal for training one time and basically the ball was lobbed to me, really high, from Midfield. Easy catch right? Wrong. As it came down, it bounced off my shoulder and looped behind me, into the empty net.

I got stick from my friends for weeks. Not just that, but girls and my GF at the time were watching from the sidelines.

I've missed my fair share of sitters plenty of times

Picked the ball up when the other team crossed it in to the penalty area. When i wasn't even the keeper.

So they got a penalty and they scored from it.

Three in about 5 minutes.

Anyway, playing for my local team in a tournament, hear someone shout proper loud "MINEEEEE, FUCKING LEAVE IT", I leave it, find out no-ones there, they go onto score. The shout was from another game.

Passed it back to my goalkeeper when he wasn't looking and it went straight in

Slipping as I went to take the shot.

Open goal too.

Easy ball at the near post, however it squirms through my legs and in.

Was playing in house matches and I got fouled. It was a clear foul, i knocked the ball past the defender and he stuck his leg out too late and took me down.

Ref said I fucking dived and I went mental and got banned from playing house matches again.

I got top scorer in that tournament with 5 goals even though I was sent off half way through the last match.

Missing the goal a lot for some reason
I'm a good technically and at dribbling, but I don't really like when someone puts me through on goal, always shitting my pants, sometimes I hit the ball perfectly, but at times I just miss the goal completely

That was about 3 games ago

I remember the ball coming to me froma goalkick put my foot down to trap it missed it went under me and they went through and scored.

Celebrating a chip but being told the ball I just chipped over the goalkeeper also chipped the crossbar.

Yeah it was Walcott.

Goal keeper kicks it from the opposing end. I'm the other keeper and I let it bounce through my legs and in. Got off rather easy though.

I like to think of myself as a good passer of the ball, so always try to pick out a pass rather than hoof it. Got the ball in our penalty area, calmly looked around for a pass and got tackled, he scored.

Another one is on the last day of the season we brought the GK out of goal and played him up front (with somebody else going in goal) and I don't score many goals but after turning a player from a throw I was in the penalty area with a clear shot on goal, but no, I pass to the goalkeeper when I could of scored and he hits the post Turned out not to matter as we won by about 5 goals, but I could of added one more to my tally
