Arsenal are doing all the pressing, i wouldn't be surprised if they got something out of this game.

Id take anything right now. Looks like Rosicky is coming on, another player who looked good in midweek. Smile

There we are, game over. Typical Arsenal performance, dominated the second half, scored no goals, Chelsea get 1 chance - goal. Rolling Eyes

No keeper would of saved that and Fab wasn't that far to the left. It curved into top right corner.

He basically said hit it to the right and they did. The moment he took up his position I sat here and knew they'd score into the right side. It was a horrible place to stand ffs

It wasn't the best positioning but the save was pretty much impossible considering the strike was probably 100 km + and into the top corner.

Keep telling yourself that. Alex hit a similar strike awhile back in the Champions League and almost snapped the goalpost. And Drogba playing CB. Laughing

Deserved atleast a point from that. Am happy with the performance given we had our best player in all positions out injured for the game and was away.

Ah well. Onto the next game and keeping our heads up

Not suprised with the result, we played well, but how many times do you hear that. Not many teams can go to the bridge without 4 of their key players in each department and play that well.

I will as it's the truth. Watch the damn replay from behind the goal ffs. He was MM away from getting a touch to it.

Respectable loss. It was Chelsea away. At least you're not losing to Blackpool at home. Sad

We done pretty well considering we had our spine out tbh. We had Chelsea scared for most of the second half.

It was a very good performance at the end of the day and I'm not dissapointed at all. Actually glad we've played them now at their stadium whilst the season is very early.

I don't deal with what ifs. Even if he had got the slightest touch to it, it was hit with such pace that it was heading toward goal regardless. But that's just a what if.

I wouldn't expect Reina to save that. Nor Casillas, Van der Sar, César etc. Coffee

    Arsenal had Chelsea scared.

That has to be one of the stupidest things said here. If we were scared our defence would have crumbled under the pressure, clearly the tactic was to counter attack, and we did, and we won.

Only way he was ever going to save that is if he was standing directly underneath where the ball went in the first place.

And if he had been stupid enough to position himself there, Alex would've just fired it at the other corner.
