I agree that Gareth Bale is overrated.
He had a good season but for me, him winning the player of the year was certainly not justified.
His season was based off of the hat-trick in the Inter Milan game. Apart from in that game, how often did he actually play very well? He only really had a few good games during the season.
When you look to a winger like Gareth Bale, if he isn't scoring as many goals as someone like Ronaldo does, then you expect him to be getting a lot of assists. He only got 1 assist during the whole PL season which shows he wasn't very effective.
