Re: Is N'zogbia overrated?
He will have to prove that he is a good player if he does decide to move away from Wigan.
Some people may say that he is an average player who is made to look better in a relatively poor team but if he moves to an Everton or Aston Villa, or as some people have mentioned to a top 4 club, he will have to perform well or he will lose his 1st team place very quickly.

He wouldn't be a bad signing for Arsenal, could easily fit into their system. Don't think he's good enough for the likes of Man United and Chelsea though.

Since when did Arsenal have such dire first teamers that couldn't match up to Ramires or Gibson?
Would fit into the system yeah, but only because he is direct, he isn't good enough to start though

I don't agree with people who are saying he is underrated.
Like I say he is a decent player but he is nothing special.

He wouldn't start for any of the teams that finished in the op 4 last season, but he would do a job for teams slightly below them, he'd still be a good squad player for the top teams.

No i don't mean he could start, he wouldn't be a perfect signing but not a bad one.

Even at that if he played for a team like Man United or Arsenal I think he would be found out as an average winger because he would be playing with top quality players.Jay wrote:He wouldn't start for any of the teams that finished in the op 4 last season, but he would do a job for teams slightly below them, he'd still be a good squad player for the top teams.

Arsenal don't have many top quality wingers.cheesy wrote:Even at that if he played for a team like Man United or Arsenal I think he would be found out as an average winger because he would be playing with top quality players.Jay wrote:He wouldn't start for any of the teams that finished in the op 4 last season, but he would do a job for teams slightly below them, he'd still be a good squad player for the top teams.

I've been following wigan for 3 seasons and I honestly think he's good. If he had more support in midfield I think he can be class

Re: Is N'zogbia overrated?
He cost them £9m and he's 26 with still a lot of resale value. I wouldn't say that's a fee for an overrated player, seems like they paid about the right amount.

Re: Is N'zogbia overrated?
This. The whole team was poor so it didn't really give him that much of a chance. With Lambert in charge, I can see him playing much better if he does play.fluffy_kittens wrote:to be fair Villa was a shambles last season in just about every way possible
