Well, to answer your question, Blatter, a corrupt fuck, was running for president against another corrupt fuck, Bin Hammam from corrupt as fuck Qatar. Former corrupt fuck pulled some strings and managed to force the latter corrupt fuck's suspension from FIFA duties pending investigation, whilst getting himself exonerated from wrongdoing in spite of ass loads of evidence pointing to the fact that he's a corrupt fuck. Thus, former corrupt fuck was allowed to run for reelection unopposed. Result: 4 more years of corrupt fucks.
