Young or Wilshere behind the striker please, as Luke said playing Lampard in the number 10 role is like playing Fabregas there, both are more effective as a central midfielder.

That would be my pick. Milner plays much better in a central role and provides way more of an attacking threat than Wilshere and Lampard. Parker cause I prefer him over Carrick. Young, Downing and Bent should all start, they work well together.

Why no Wilshere Marvin? where is the creativity coming from that team? Young can only do so much, and he doesn't really have great vision to carry the whole team.

Dunno, didn't leave him out on purpose. He can come on as a sub, coaches have been going on about how tired he is anyway.
Plenty of creativity. Milner comes alive in the centre, provides more going forward than Wilshere so he will be the main man to start it off. Then there's Johnson, Downing (Depending on which Downing turns up) and Young. Parker is just there to break up play but he's more than capable of creating things. Obviously depends on the team Swizterland put out but assuming it's their normal line up then I would put Parker in ahead of Wilshere.
Partly the reason I put in Cahill too, he can create from the back. As can Terry at times. Which should be useful seeing as how Swizterland play deep.

Yes Milner is powerful going forward, but his intelligence is not on Wilshere level. With Wilshere he can play with any box-box mid and the team will still be strong. What I'm saying is the midfield needs atleast Wilshere or like Lampard. Johnson and Downing aren't great returning back and that's where I'd put Milner...on one side of the wings.
I don't see point of defenders making plays, usually they pass to central mids or play long balls. (Switzerland have good height to deal with long balls.)
If Milner would play alongside Parker, then it would even be better if either Johnson or Downing were replaced by Young on the wings with Wilshere playing behind Bent.

Think you're underrated Milner there. But like I said, Wilshere can always come on as a sub. I don't see what harm is can do to have CB's who are capable of doing that when the moment calls for it. Cahill and Terry both make surging runs from the back now and both of their passing is very underrated by many as well.
Milner on the wing is pretty useless unless you're planing to counter/play defensive. As for Wilshere in the CAM role, not so sure about that myself. Would be worth a try if England are winning, but I think the partnership of Bent and Young would be more reliable.
And tbh, if that was the team that was picked for the match but with Wilshere ahead of Milner then I really wouldn't care as long as Milner came on at some point. Milner over Wilshere is just my personal preference.
