He also provided a volleyed through ball, a chest-on for kuyt, won headers, intercepted, got involved in the short passing. And his first goal just showcased his power and technique regards to shooting. And the second goal was all about making it very awkward for the defender. Just a game which showed what he was all about.

I like the guy honestly but there isn't much to his overall game ATM, I'll give him time but I do doubt.

He shot it in between the middle and the far post, Scott and others cracked boners over how clinical they thought it was. You are quite right El Indian

but carroll is just really bad, torres mis controlling balls because he needs a rest etc etc, carroll mis controlling balls because hes like that normally, such a backwards player/; only a backwards club would utilize such a big slow tree like him i have to say

This, he's not rated in Spain for a reason

Obviously Carroll isn;t the most technically gifted, how many 6'3 guys are. There are loads of Ibra's in the game, that why most clubs have one right?

Andy Carroll wasn't bought to dribble the whole team. He bullies defenders, wins headers, creates chances and scores with his feet and his head.

As for the goal against City, it wasn't the best placed shot, but the power on it was what took it in. And as long as it goes in it could go straight down the middle, idgaf.
