Fernando Torres based on the past, right now Carroll has been a better individual for Liverpool in my opinion, but I don't like his style at all.

Stop it now Theo. Wasn't of space these threads.
Wouldn't say Carroll's been bad either. He's been limited to sub appearences.

Andy Carroll hasn't been bad. Both goals against Citeh were good. Has just had a niggling injury. Now that it's the end of the season he has time to prepare & be fit for the new season.

Torres is obviously a better player, he'll prove that next season.

Re: Andy Carroll v Fernando Torres
He is, and if Carroll was still at Newcastle and Torres was still at Liverpool, you'd agree with me. He'll get a rest this summer, he'll get a good pre season in, and he'll be a top player again next season. Luckily for him, at Chelsea they won't be so reliant on him that they ruin his career by rushing him back from injuries, like they did to Michael Owen.

Michael Owen has never played for Chelsea

Torres is probably better, I reckon Carroll has very good potential though.

I guarantee you RR, if Carroll played for Chelsea and Torres was still at Liverpool, your opinion would be the opposite.

Torres, and even if Torres doesn't reach his previous form he'd still probably be better

Re: Andy Carroll v Fernando Torres
Of course it fucking wouldn't, Torres has been recognised as one of the best strikers in the world, due to being brilliant, I don't think Carroll will ever be anywhere near that. It's not because of the club he's playing for, I'm not biased when it comes to Andy Carroll, I just don't see what all the hype's about.

Why the fuck would you close it? It's a discussion about two players, a comparison, it doesn't fit into any existing, active threads. You don't need to go around acting the big I am just because you've got mod powers.
