I remember 2 years ago when Cardiff were in the top 6 pretty much all season, then on the last day they finished 7th and on the same points as Preston in 6th, but Preston had scored just 1 more goal Preston beat them 6-0 only weeks before too iirc

Doesn't mean they care about how the club does. A lot of loan players just hope they play well and couldn't give a fuck about the result as long as they looked good.

3rd best game of that season. 2nd was the next game, vs Birmingham, won 2-1 away thanks to a Wallace FK on '89 and on the last day we won 2-1 vs QPR and Cardiff lost to Sheff Wed and we all pitch invaded

Well it hasn't worked for Cardiff. Most of the loans players there minus Bellamy aren't really that bothered. If they were they wouldn't have wasted so many chances to gain automatic promotion this season.
