He's a good player Parker. I think this is his level. He's not top club material. But he's an experienced, established player in the Premier League. The best players shouldn't just win everything every year. You have to pick different players and go for a bit of variation. Parker has had a big impact on West Ham this year and without him, I think they'd be going down. I certainly think that.

Spot on Dean. You get people like Kyro who don't understand this.

Maybe but put it like this, with Parker they were doing absolutely shit in the first half of the season. Only reason they've done better since then is because of players like Demba Ba plus the current squad players returning from injury. Parker isn't as pivotal to them as people say.

I can see where Kyro is coming from, though I do like Scott Parker. It's just one of those things where so many people are saying he's underrated and praising him that he becomes overrated. You know, like the opposite of Ibra. Simples

Mm that's why I said he's underrated (just on these forums), cause most people here dont rate him. Media darling though.

Hitzlberger has been the key player coming back for West Ham. As Jamie said they were doing shit in the first half of the season even with parker.

I don't overrate him. No way is he good enough to play for top clubs like Man United and Chelsea.

TBF I think Man Utd could do with Parker with their centre midfield.

Parker would be found out in a better team.

Passion and work rate work at lower levels, at the top level you need more then just that.

While I do think Parker is a good player. I also think that this is 'his level'. I think he proved at Chelsea he wasn't top club material. He's not a Championship player, but he's not a Champions League player either.
