Was a tight game, and to be fair Sunderland deserved to get something from it. We didn't take our chances and paid. Rosicky shouldn't have taken that penalty, but we lost there last season. The important thing is we got a point at a tricky away fixture without van Persie and Walcott. Also, we are still unbeaten. Only way is up.

Re: Bloody Football.
Like I said in the other thread, it wasn't the referees fault. It was our fault, we failed to take chances and paid for it.

Re: Bloody Football.
I would have taken a point beforehand, as it's a tough place to go. But to concede like that, that late makes it suck

Re: Bloody Football.
You have to look at the positives here. Would you of taken a point before? Yeah of course. No matter where they score, 1st or 90th minute, theres no excuses. We're still unbeaten have already faced Liverpool and Sunderland away from home. That is pretty good.

Re: Bloody Football.
I was really impressed with the CB's today. In past season we'd have crumbled under the pressure, but today they held strong against the long balls, the corners and the regular attacking plays.

We dealed with Asamoah Gyan and Bent. We're without Fabregas, van Persie, Walcott, Vermealan, Diaby, Song. We were also with 10 men.

That's why it felt so bad. If we had held out it wuold've been great to show the depth and that we've moved forward. It's not all bad but I was just letting off some steam

Not just that, but right at the extreme end of injury time.

Re: Bloody Football.
They didn't deserve anything from that match especially in the 2nd half. There player's were lazy and tired, all they did was launch the ball up front hoping for the best and Koscielny and Squillaci dealt with it impressively. Don't think they deserved to get anything out of it tbh.atastycrumpet wrote:Was a tight game, and to be fair Sunderland deserved to get something from it. We didn't take our chances and paid. p.s. Nasri, Denilson or Chamakh should've taken the penalty instead of Rosicky.

Yeah, it's part of football. Think how many teams from Under15's Sunday League all the way to the World Cup final. It's a part of football. Man U have tasted it twice, Man City lost to it, Liverpool have had it done to them, we done it to Liverpool. It's a part of Football.

Re: Bloody Football.
The difference. We played better than you's lot on your own turf for the majority of the match. Sunderland played decent in the 1st half, but woeful in the 2nd. We should have won the game with that penalty tbh.Cameron_LFC wrote:Now you know how we felt after the Liverpool Arsenal Game.

Re: Bloody Football.
TBH it's all Sunderland deserve. The had 65% possession in the first half. Arsenal were only winning by a fluke goal anyway, so Sunderland deserved at least a point.
I really wanted Arsenal to win though, as now Chelsea can go four points clear.

Re: Bloody Football.
I got back from the Millwall game and was in the pub with my Spurs family and the whole pub was edging Sunderland on (except for a few Arsenal) and there was a massive cheer when Sunderland scored.
