OK, fine, how about the fucking House of Lords?
"The tort of defamation protects those whose reputations have been unlawfully injured. It affords little or no protection to those who have, or deserve to have, no reputation deserving of legal protection. Until 9 November 1994 when the newspaper published its first articles about him, the appellant's public reputation was unblemished. But he had in fact acted in a way in which no decent or honest footballer would act and in a way which could, if not exposed and stamped on, undermine the integrity of a game which earns the loyalty and support of millions."

Grobbelaar ended up not getting the £85k I think.
MLT's autobiography said he got £1 in damages, and had to pay the paper's legal costs.

Er...it was found in the House of Lords, the highest court in the land, that he "had in fact acted in a way in which no decent or honest footballer would act and in a way which could, if not exposed and stamped on, undermine the integrity of a game which earns the loyalty and support of millions."
You find me a statement from the House of Lords or the Supreme Court outlining Ferdinand taking drugs and I'll admit you were right all along. Rio Ferdinand has never been accused of taking drugs, if he had been, he would have faced targeted testing for the rest of his career.

Not 100% on how the law works on this but..
OCTOBER 2002 - House of Lords reinstates Grobbelaar's libel victory on a technicality - but reduces the award to £1.

In the end he paid £499,999 because, while technically his case had merit, the House of Lords found that he had behaved in a dishonest and corrupt way, and was, as The Sun asserted, a crook etc.

And Manchester.United has a player jailed years ago for match fixing. And Grobbelaar was never proven to have sold any games the people who watched the games said that the goals scored when Liverpool lost 3 Nil to Newcastle that none of the Goals scored were cause by Grobbelaar trying to let them in and in other games aswell.
MANCHESTER.UNITED GOALKEEPER "JAILED FOR MATCH FIXING"
George Anderson played for the Reds from 1911 to 1917, scoring 37 goals in 80 league appearances.
After being transferred from Bury for £50, he played alongside future legends Billy Meredith and Sandy Turnbull and seemed destined for greatness.
But his career came crashing down when he was accused of fixing a match against Burnley in December 1917.
He was banned from Old Trafford and eventually jailed for eight months after facing trial in Liverpool.

But winning 19 Trophy's does that not give him the right to be a Legend or did he supposedly cheat to win all them aswell.
And well you will say George Best was a Legend but he was a drunk And yet put the drink first before the famous Manchester.United . And well Wayne Rooney is he a Legend yet he made a complete full of your club and your manager is he still a "fucking legend". How can anyone at Manchester.United not trust Fergie after what he has done for your club.

He didn't 'match-fix' while he was at our club. Therefore, in my eyes, he's a legend at our club.

I hate dishonesty in football, if a player retires and dies because of drinking, then that's a shame, but it's his problem. If Rooney doubts the ambitions of the club, then it's unfortunate, but football will go on. If bastards like Grubby liar and George Anderson are fixing matches though, that destroys any meaning in football, it's a much more serious problem.

For someone who has supposedly have been cheating he seemed to have actually played well in a lot of these games in question, and supposedly accidently pulled out some blinding saves in a lot of these games.
