Had it been Hodgson and not Dalglish who sanctioned the transfer of Torres to Chelsea, would your reaction have been different?

They'll say no, but IMO it would have been much different

Re: Question for Liverpool fans
That's a very good question
I would probably say yes, because if Hodgson had sanctioned it, it would have been for 40 quid and a WH Smiths book voucher.

Well probably, considering what Hodgson was doing at their club.

Yes, probably. Would have blamed Roy for Torres leaving.

Re: Question for Liverpool fans
No, because Torres still would've forced it. Only an idiot would think Hodgson would willingly let Torres go.

What i was thinking. Torres leaving had nothing to do with the Dalglish, and if Roy was still there i doubt it wouldn't have been any different.

Who gives a fuck, we got Andy Carroll and Suarez here now.
Torres wanted to fuck off since the summer. Either manager, he would have gone.

At the time, we thought he was staying.
Him handing in a transfer request, saying he loved the club, the city, the fans blah blah. Was the shock.

I think i was surprised because Kenny was here, and things were looking very bright. I (not speaking for the others) was surprised because i thought he might want to stay and be part of a rebuilding process.

And would he have signed Suarez and Carrol?
