Of course he isn't. He was bought in January and at the end of the window, so the price was always going to be high.

Yeah. My point was that if I criticize him it's going to be about not being worth the fee rather than not being talented, which is partly why people diss him more since he moved to Liverpool. Of course some of it is just because he's at Liverpool though.

What's your reason, he left to play for a club you don't like? Same with Carroll, for some people he left to a club they don't like.

I guess you could argue it's just that he left at all, but if he'd moved somewhere abroad I doubt he'd get as much hate from Liverpool fans.
