Éric Abidal is now back home and the Club’s medical services report that his post-operation progress has been satisfactory.The Club’s medical services released a statement explaining: “the player was discharged
from hospital yesterday afternoon and is now resting at home. The post operation process has been
satisfactory in all aspects and no complications have occurred”.
According to the Club doctors, Abidal: “will continue the recovery process at home and
it is estimated that he will be able to begin physical exercise in four weeks’ time and then
later to rejoin the squad training sessions”.
In accordance with the specific wishes of the player himself, the Club would like to demand
the maximum respect for his privacy and confidentiality concerning his medical treatment.
